Thanked everyone who gave donations to the Christmas party. We did take a loss on the Christmas party, we had to guarantee 100 people and we only had 85. Next years party will be on Saturday, December 4th from 1 to 5pm. We cannot get the Ravens schedule for next year this early and do not want to compete with their game.
The hall called to inform me that they found a Blackberry on one of the tables, if you know the owner let me know.
The Bull Roast is scheduled for Sunday April ll. We are going to have 2 wheels. The flower wheel will be run by Angela Thomas. If you can work the wheel call Angela-410-969-2851. We will need alcohol, cakes, and other donations, for the flower wheel. The money wheel will be run by Tom Sommerville 443-528-5108 and George Phillips. Don’t forget, they also need volunteers to work. John and Sheila Gill are doing the 50/50 raffle tickets. We have 4,000 to sell. If you need more tickets call 410-433-1694.
I want to thank Marge Stock for working the front door collecting money and tickets at the Christmas party, she did a great job.

GOOD OF THE CLUB:
The club took a loss on the Christmas party, we had to pay for 100 people and only had 85 paid tickets. The food and music were great and Clara and Marge were applauded for the wonderful job they did. We know not everyone will like the Christmas party being scheduled on a Saturday, but we are hoping for a better turnout next year. We may have to increase the price of our lunches and make other changes to control our financial situation. We will discuss this problem again after the Bull Roast, which needs to be a big success as it is our clubs major fundraiser.
The issue of allowing domestic partners or life partners becoming members of the club was discussed. The membership present voted yes to this proposal. The By-Laws will be looked over and discussed before an amendment is added.
The subject of allowing hourly retirees to join the club was also talked about. The membership voted 20 no to 26 yes. This will be brought up again at the next meeting and the By-Laws would also have to be amended.
There was a short discussion about the possibility of changing our summer meetings back to evening.
Jim read a newspaper article about Skip Shiflett being inducted into the Greater Dundalk Sports Hall of Fame. Skip was congratulated.
