Clara will have Entertainment Books next month. 

 

The crab feast will be in October, she is checking on pricing.  Clara will have the tickets to the Christmas Party printed in September. The band will be Tommy Band.

 

Clara will be bringing her chicken dinner for our August lunch

We had one death. Frieda Helinski, Lodge notice was posted in the Sun paper and a Sympathy card was mailed to the family.

 

Get well card was sent to Henry Marshall who is recovering from open heart surgery.

 

John Eltringham broke his leg.  He doesn't have e-mail so write or call him at 8109 Longpoint Rd. Baltimore, MD. 21222--410-284-1830 to wish him well.

Henry Marshall wanted to thank everyone for their cards and messages.

Please call Marge if you know of anyone sick or deceased so she can send a card..

GOOD OF THE CLUB:

 

Jim welcomed new & infrequent members.

 

The By-Laws that were passed unanimously last month will be posted on the clubs web site for everyone to read. Jim will also bring in hard copies for those who do not have web access.

 

There was an article on the GM retirees website whereas Jim was interviewed about his hobby.

 

Jim is interested in the preservation of Covered Bridges through out the United States especially in Maryland and Pennsylvania. He works with the society of Pennsylvania for the preservation of our wooden structures.
