According to our by-laws by the end of January 2012 Jim has to name a nominating committee chairperson, who can then nominate 2 more people to help him on the committee to go through the process of nominating officers for the next term. The nominations should be done by March, having the election in March and the new team of officers taking over in June 2012. We have a lot of people in place that have been in office or have been committee chairpersons for quite awhile. I am asking for the younger people to step up and volunteer to take over.
We are still looking for someone to take over doing the Raffle tickets for Jack & Sheila Gill.
Betty Bonner is having trouble getting the newsletter printed. Betty said she will still do the mailing but can no longer get the printing done. Tim Stansbury volunteered to get the printing done starting in January.
Jim thanked everyone who supported the crab feast last month while he was away, and Skip for taking over the meeting.
GOOD OF THE CLUB:
Jim welcomed new & infrequent members.
Remember that Health Care decisions have to be made by December 7,2011.
Jack Gill said his daughters were called back to work at the Allison Transmission Plant.
A big applause was given to all who made the crab feast a success.
