GOOD OF THE CLUB:

Jim welcomed John Eltringham back.

Jim renewed the Club Charter with the IRS earlier this month

After the meeting today the Executive Board is having a very important meeting.

The club is going to be losing money the next few years do to dwindling membership and rising prices. We lost money on the Christmas party last year. We have to consider a few options: Not have a Christmas party, or have  a Christmas party without open bar or instead of a Christmas party have a Bull & Shrimp Fall Festival ,which could also be a fund raiser. There is a choice of not having a club meeting this November15th, in it's place have the Bull & Shrimp Festival on November 18th. Then reinstate the December 20th club meeting  at Turners Hall. After much deliberation, it was agreed to take away the Christmas party and try and have the bull & shrimp roast on November 18th. Cancel the November Club meeting and  reinstate the December Club meeting.
