Bill Brannon thanked Jim for the excellent job he did as president. He said he thinks it's a shame that you have to practically beg people to pay their dues. Everyone knows that the club needs money to run properly. He also thanked Clara Musick for the job she does. Clara and Jim Smedley appeared to be very worried about the move to Rosedale Gardens and if the members would be satisfied. Bill told them that they do a excellent job in everything they do for the club, and that they can't satisfy everybody all the time. Bill wanted them to know on behalf of the club that everything they do for the club is appreciated. He also wanted to thank Jack & Sheila Gill for the outstanding job they do selling the 50/50 tickets at the meetings plus their handling the raffle tickets sales.
Bill would like to know what the membership thinks of an idea of his. He would like to have a segment called GM--MY TIME to make the meetings more interesting. Basically we would listen to members of the club discuss what their responsibilities and duties were for the time they were employed by GM. It was agreed that the membership would think about his idea and discuss it further next month.
Also, Bill wanted the membership to know, as far as he is concerned, Tim Stansbury was the best plant manager they had and wished him good luck.
GOOD OF THE CLUB:
Tim welcomed new & infrequent members.
