Tom needed more volunteers to work the money wheel for the shrimp roast.

 

Chevrolet Delivers 12th Quarter of Record Global Sales. Nearly 1.25million units sold in the third quarter, up 0.6%. Overall  GM third quarter sales of nearly 2.4million, up 5.5%.

 

Amazon : Amazon. com will open a l million sq. ft. distribution center that will employ 1,000 people at the site of the former GM plant in Southeast Baltimore, the company announced. Tim has copies of the article up front for anyone interested. 

 

Tim also distributed copies of the NEW GM EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT PROGRAM, I encourage you again to go on line and look at the GM retirees discounts available  to make your holiday shopping easier.

Most Powerful Women Summit:

 

Mary Barra is the Executive Vice President for Global Product Development & Global Purchasing & Supply Chain and was recently interviewed at the Most Powerful Women Summit held in Washington, DC.  We watched a video of that interview. The video is available on YouTube. In the search area type in GM Mary Barra.
